I was really excited about staying at this penthouse suite for $300 a night, but I left feeling quite disappointed. While the location is fantastic, the cleanliness and maintenance of the room were major letdowns. From the dirty kitchen area to plumbing issues, it really wasn't what I expected. The only redeeming factor was that the rooms below looked much cleaner, but I'm unlikely to return for my annual vacation.

Our stay had its ups and downs. On the plus side, the location in Gloucester is fantastic, with easy access to local parks and nearby train stations for day trips to Salem and Boston. The facilities, including the indoor pool and jacuzzi, were great for relaxation. However, the rooms left much to be desired, with heating issues and cleanliness concerns. Overall, it’s a decent place for the price, but improvements are definitely needed.

My stay at Cape Ann Marina Resort was mostly positive, with exceptional staff and a fantastic dining experience. The pool area was a hit with the kids, and I loved the recommendations we received. However, the rooms could use some updates, and I did experience a damp feeling in my particular room. Overall, it was a great getaway, but some improvements are definitely needed in the accommodations.
